When I first met Mike Quinn in 1977 what I liked the most about him was how he raved about his family and friends back east - but there was no one he was crazier about than his Jackie. I thought that she couldn't be as great as he described but I was wrong. When I met her later that year, her smile literally lit up the room and you felt an incredible kindness and warmth from her - she was the real deal. I am grateful that I got to be around her. My prayers and thoughts today are with the entire Quinn family. Love, Mary

We're so very sorry to hear the news. Jackie is so special to us. When our mom passed away eight years ago, we all felt Jackie was our strongest connection to her. With all the people in her life and all she had to do, Jackie was also always there for us. What an amazing person! No one had more class and grace than Jackie Quinn. We hope she's with our mom right now, enjoying a cup of heavenly tea together.

Story shared: The Big Turnout

Today will be a Big Turnout for sure as Jackie was loved by all who she touched. So full of life, love and laughter. It was 1978 and Mike was bringing Jackie, Diane, and their mother Lil, and the one and only Bob Carson, to visit San Francisco. I was living up there. We toured the city and the area for two days, 6 of us in the same car, stopping at pubs and taverns along the way. Jokes and laughter the entire weekend. The girls kept up with us younger dudes, drink for drink. Crossing the peninsula to the coast at Half Moon Bay was a hilly, windy road, that had places where slow moving vehicles could pull over, follwing a road sign the read "Turnout Ahead". As we passed each one we repeated the same joke..."Not a very big turnout!" I can still hear the laughter. God bless you Jackie. Give my love to Lil, Diane and Kathy. I miss you already. Jackie was one of the most kindest and unselfish person on the face of the Earth. She was always there to help and make things better for everyone. I am glad I knew Jackie from "211" to Heaven.
