Daddy was soo happy when Maureen took him home. She treated him like a King, as she always did, and it came quite naturally to him :) Doesn't he look so comfy?

On Dad's 65th birthday, 4/24/12, Michael, Dat and Chris came up from Florida to surprise him. Michael, Dat, Chris, Me, Maureen, Scott, Mikey and Matthew all got together and surprised Dad at the Bx VA. He was thrilled that we were all there! We brought Popeye's chicken (Dad loved Popeye's) and ice-cream cake, Maureen brought down old pictures of Dad when he was young and of the family through the years. We enjoyed looking at the pictures and spending time with Dad!

I took this picture of Dad and I the day I met him to give him the cross I bought him, right before his liver transplant. He loved his cross and he also thought it was cool that I can take a pic of us :)
